About the data

Golf Data Online (golfdata.online) is the visitor app of an agent-first golf industry directory that starts with the Canary Islands. We would rather show a gap than a guess.

Approved data only

Collectors gather facts from public sources into a staging area. Nothing in staging is shown here.
A validator publishes a record only when confidence is high and at least two independent, fetched sources agree on its identity.
When sources disagree on a field (the phone number or map coordinates, for example), the field is published empty and shown as “Not verified”.
Every change is versioned and logged.

Sources and trust levels

Each club page lists every source document behind it, which fields it confirms, and when we retrieved it.

Federation National or regional golf federation (e.g. Real Federación Canaria de Golf)
Official site The club's own official website
Tourism board Official tourism boards (Cabildos, Turismo de Islas Canarias)

Last verified

Every listing shows when it was last verified (in Canary Islands time). Pages refresh from the directory about every hour, and the app keeps a copy of club pages for offline use on the course.

For AI agents

The same approved data is available to AI assistants through a read-only MCP server, with sources and last-verified dates on every record.

Privacy

We use Vercel Speed Insights only: cookie-less, sampled, aggregated performance measurements (how fast pages load). No page-view analytics, no cookies, no personal profiles. Your browser only talks to this site and the OpenStreetMap tile servers.
